ABA Transport Groupings

The ABA produce a list of groups for different types of forklift trucks which also includes Mobile Elevating Work Platforms and Tow Tractors. There are a large number of groups so the idea of this page is to try and simplify them and also associate them with RTITB's Trainer's Guides which are essential ammunition in an instructor's armory. It should be noted that those shown below, in all cases, the groups are further divided into sub sections depending upon stacking height, motive power and other factors and a detailed, complete list of these groups can be downloaded here in PDF format.
