Dangers of floor obstructions
Any type floor obstruction can cause a forklift truck to tip over depending upon the nature of the obstruction. Things such as kerb stones, slippery patches and the like should be avoided as far as possible. If it is necessary to negotiate a slippery patch then extra care should be taken and the speed of the truck reduced.
