Steering in four wheel steer mode
This is the most common steering mode for a telescopic materials handler and the machine is much more manoeuvrable with four wheel steering. I suggest that this mode is used for the majority of training exercises.
Again the trainees should practice steering the machine left, right, forwards and backwards in confined spaces whilst observing all around and using the mirrors fitted.
The machine should be stationary and the the wheels straight before changing the steering mode.
