Comatra tyre pressure monitoring system
If you use a telescopic materials handler or any forklift fitted with pneumatic tyres you might be interested in this new safety device from Comatra.
It continuously monitors tyre pressures and warns the operator by a visible and audible alarm should the tyre pressure change. Accurate tyre pressures are essential to maintain forklift stability and low pressures can cause trucks to overturn often with disastrous results.
Internal sensors are fitted into the actual tyre valves and transmit the data wirelessly to the operator’s compartment where the visual and audible alarms are mounted.
