Capacity plates. Stacking height considerations
The capacity plate shown here has a lot of information for the forklift truck driver to take in. The column on the right-hand side shows the height of the forks measured from the ground, in other words, the normal lift height. It can be seen that this truck will stack to a height of 3890 mm without de-rating but the maximum stacking height is 7890 mm. Any height more than 3890 mm will cause the truck to de-rate. Details relating to the trucks load centre are shown on the next slide.
