Mounting the truck should be done from the left-hand side as it is possible to fall over the control levers on the right-hand side. A three-point mount should be used with one hand on the canopy guard and the other on the seat backrest. Operators should not pull themselves up using the steering wheel or handbrake etc.
When dismounting the truck operators should get off backwards. The reason for this is to discourage people from jumping off the truck and having a possible accident in so doing.
